Designer / Web Developer - UC Irvine Extension
Designed websites for different courses and programs requiring
an assortment of visual solutions. Designed newspaper, magazine
ads and HTML emails for new classes and events. Implemented
online surveys for gathering information to a SQL Server database.
Developed password protected user interfaces for managing and
monitoring data. Put into practice, a tracking system for logging
click throughs for email campaigns using Webtrends.

Successfully marketed myself and obtained a variety of different design related
jobs from several new clients. Acted as a consultant to Broadcom Inc., for
the transfer of Gadzoox' website to their servers.

Revamped Nishan
Systems' website (300+ pages)
with
a
new
look, new file organization, and new navigation. Designed
face
plates for new products from Nishan Systems and Vormetric. Created new manual
covers
for
various
documentation for Vormetric. Landed three new website design jobs which
are currently in the works. Created a Flash aminated Product
Demo for Vormetric.

Designer / Web Developer - Gadzoox Networks, Inc.
Worked with cross-functional teams to develop effective promotional
concepts and materials for the Marketing Department. Responsible
for the creation of promotional vehicles for company (both
online
and offline): designed company graphics (presentation graphics,
company logos) and built animated product demos as well as
interactive
CD ROMs. Directed the enhancement and implementation of the
latest computer software, architected several new versions
of
the corporate intranet, internet and extranet sites, and constructed
web front-ends to Oracle, Access, and MySQL databases. Conceptualized/developed
marketing tools (banner ads, brochures, poster designs, business
cards and corporate folders) for the corporate communications
department. Completed technical illustrations, and acted as
a consultant to our software developers for graphical user
interfaces
(GUIs).

Worked with student athletes in various events for track and
field (high jump, sprints, and middle distance). Head Cross-Country
coach for one season before my office (Gadzoox Networks) moved
from Placentia to Irvine.
